LA CORTE DEL POZZO

Fasoli Gino turned to organic viticulture in 1980 and since 1984 all of their land has been farmed organically. The nature of the land (partly clay and partly a miz of stones and sand) and the favorable microclimate (the wide and sunny valley, protected from the north by the Lessini mountains) make the area particularly suitable for vine growing.

2006 Valpolicella DOC

750 ml/12 pk

Tight on the nose, offering just a hint of the clean, black fruit and coffee stained oak character that forms a solid bead on the palate. Full-bodied, with lots of tightly packed tannins that carry the crushed fruit flavors through the long, long finish. Very intense, almost closed but super clean and fine.

2004 Amarone della Valpolicella DOC

750 ml/12 pk

Complex nose, with soft raisins, earth, dried herbs, Indian spices and chocolate. Full-bodied, with loads of spicy fruit coating the tannins and a very long, distinctive mineral finish. Powerful, but remains fresh. This is what Amarone is all about. Irresistible now, but will age very well. Fantastic.
