TERRE DEL BAROLO
The winery was set up on December 8, 1958 by 22 growers in the various villages of the neighborhood. Located in Castiglione Falletto in the heart of the Langhe, the winery brings together 500 growers who collectively own around 800 hectares of the great Langhe vineyards in the villages of Grinzane Cavour, Serralunga, Monforte, Diano d'Alba, Barolo, Novello, and La Mora.

Sweet cherry scents jump from the glass of this medium ruby-colored, civilized, richly fruity Barbera. It has less acidity than expected, no obvious oak, but luscious fruit and a pleasing, up-front style.

Gorgeous aromas of blackberries, cherries and plums with a light hint of spice. Full-bodied, with round and velvety tannins and a long, luscious finish. A beauty. Hard not to drink now for its beautiful balance and harmony.

A medium garnet-colored in addition to a sweet perfume of kirsch liqeur intermixed with notions of high class cigar tobacco, roasted herbs, and licorice. Medium to full-bodied with light to moderate tannin, this classically-styled, impressice Barolo should drink well for a decade.
