VALDARNO SUPERIORE
The Valdarno Superiore was born in 1961 by several wine growers who decided to form a consortium with the aim of producing high quality wines. In the years to follow many other vine growers joined this conortium, making it one of the biggest vine-growing and wine-producing establishments in the Arno valley.

This Chianti possesses a nice gamy nose with hint of roasted herbs, grilled meats, sweet cherries and licorice. Medium-bodied with good depth, soft tannins, and a savory mouth-feel, it should drink beautifully with a steak prepared in the Florentine manner.
